Iceland

The map appeared for the first time the year 1840 in the book An Historical and Descriptive Account of Iceland, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands by James Nicol. On the title page says that Wright is the author but no first name is given and we don't know anything more about him. He must have known of the coastal charts from the first part of the century because the coastline is approximately right. But the interior is rather desolate.
