In 1600 a new edition of the map collection of Barent Langenes was published in Latin under the name P. Bertii Tabularum geographicarum contractarum libri quatuor. The maps by Petrus Kaerius are mostly the same as in the former version but the names are written in Latin and the accompanying texts are expanded by Petrus Bertius. The next 12 years six new editions of the book appeared with unchanged maps but texts in Latin (1600, 1603, 1606), French (1602), Dutch (1609) and German (1612). The map shows Northern Europe, Iceland is rather small and place-names are only three.
