This is the western part of Robert de Vaugondy's two sheet map of the British Isles and Scandinavia. He was related to the Sanson family and had inherited many of their plates which he used as a basis for his Atlas Universel. Iceland is a reduced copy of Nicolas Sanson's map of the country.
