Herman Moll was a mapmaker who worked in England but was of Dutch origin. The map's version of what we can see of Iceland has, like the author, it roots in Holland, and is a copy the map of Joris Carolus. From The Compleat Geographer: or, the Chorography and Topography of all the known Parts of the Earth.
