Zorgdrager was a Dutch captain who visited Iceland in 1699. A while later he wrote a book about fishing in the northern seas and the neighbouring countries called Bloeyende opkomst der aloude en hedendaagsche Groenlandsche Visschery. It has lot of information about Iceland and a separate map of the country. Iceland is also visible on other maps in the book. The shape of the country is of the Dutch sea chart type.
Zorgdrager's book was published in Dutch 1720 and 1727 and in German 1723 and 1750.
