A map of the North Pole

Herman Moll was a mapmaker who worked in England but was of Dutch or German origin. The map's version of Iceland has, like the author, it roots in Holland, it is a copy the map of Joris Carolus. The Western Fiords are shaped like a triangle and south and east coasts are too straight. Some of this can probably be blamed on the small scale of the map. The map could be from Thomas Salmon's Modern History or the Present State of all Nations
