Kaert von Groen-Land

The name of the cartographer is not known but the map accompanied a German edition of Isaac de La Peyrère's book about Greenland, Ausführliche Beschreibung des Theils bewohnt - theils unbewohnt - so genannten Gröenlands. The map's purpose was to depict Greenland, not Iceland. Iceland lies north of Scotland and is rather poorly drawn. At the bottom of the page we can see pictures from the countries' nature and wildlife.
