Novissima Islandiæ tabula

When Joris Carolus' map of Iceland was published in 1630 it was adopted by several authors of the various miscellanies which were then in fashion. Among them were two publishers in Amsterdam, Peter Schenk and Gerard Valk. The map is printed after the plate done by Johannes Janssonius which was now back in the Netherlands after having been in England for some time, in the possession of Moses Pitt.
