Charles Lenormand can't be found in any dictionaries of mapmakers. The map is drawn by hand and on the same sheet is a map of the Azores by the same maker. In the bottom right hand corner the number 226 can be seen which leads us to conclude that the map was once a part of a large collection.
Iceland is rather poorly drawn but the model is clearly the map by Joris Carolus and all place-names come from that direction.
