Frisland was probably an amalgamation of Iceland and the Faroes and the double of both of them. This map is from Corso geografico universale by Vincenzo Coronelli and is probably derived from the Zeno map."

Fræðimenn hafa löngum deilt um hvað eyjan eigi að tákna. Flestir töldu fyrst að hún væri Færeyjar en aðrir sögðu hana tvífara Íslands. En nú telja menn líklegast að hún sé sambland úr báðum löndum. Kortið er úr Corso geografico universale eftir Vincenzo Coronelli og er eftirmynd af hluta Zeno-kortsins."
