Delamarche later took over.  It was probably Delamarche who changed Iceland on this Vaugondy-map from the Sanson-type to Knoff. The year 1756 on one copy refers to the older version (see map with same title).<br>\r\nIceland is part of a large map of Scandinavia."

Nú er hins vegar komin til sögu ný Íslandsgerð ættuð frá Knoff.\r\nUm miðja 18. öld voru Robert de Vaugondy og sonur hans í hópi þekktustu kortaútgefenda Frakka. Merkast af kortasöfnum þeirra var Atlas Universel sem C. F. Delamarche tók síðar við og breytti og bætti.<br>\r\nÍsland er íauki á stóru korti af Skandinavíu.\r\n"
